The Theater for Young Audiences Series is appropriate for grade school aged children. Families with younger children are encouraged to attend our all-ages shows on Sundays.

From the moment his tall, red-and-white-striped hat appears around the door, Sally and her brother know that THE CAT IN THE HAT is the funniest, most mischievous cat they have ever met. With the trickiest of tricks and craziest of ideas, he is certainly fun to play with. And he turns a rainy afternoon into an amazing adventure. But what will mum find when she gets home...?

MEET THE CAST

Matthew Gilbert (Cat) is so thrilled to be back with SecondStory Repertory with such a awesome cast! Previous TYA roles include King Louis in "Puss in Boots" and Jan in Charles Way's Beauty and the Beast. Matthew would like to thank his friends and family for their constant support through his theater adventures. To his wonderful fiancée Samantha, for always keeping him laughing and loving life! Thank you and enjoy the show.

Arika Gloud (Sally) is delighted to return to SecondStory Rep! She most recently appeared in SSR's production of The Velveteen Rabbit and she regularly performs in murder mysteries with Events on the Edge. She has performed in several states including California, Minnesota, Oklahoma, and Alaska, and has entertained tourists in Greece. She is grateful to be back at SSR and be a part of such a great show!

Nikki Delmarter (Thing One) is thrilled to be making her SSR debut in this delightful children's show. Nikki recently graduated with her BFA in musical theater and moved to the Seattle area. Previous roles include, Cinderella, Maria/Liesl (sound of music), Amy (Little Women), Eponine (Les Mis), and many more. Nikki has had the pleasure of working at Couer d'Alene summer theater, Stone Soup, and Fantastic Z and many more. She would like to thank her friends and family for supporting her dreams.
