Forever Plaid, the “heavenly musical
revue” harkens back to the days of
Ed Sullivan, Perry Como & The Four
Aces. Follow the Plaids- Sparky,
Jinx, Smudge & Frankie, four
clean-cut young men who were
killed in a car crash in the 1950’s
on the way to see the Beatles
perform on the Ed Sullivan Show. Due
to the alignment of space and time,
the Plaids are miraculously revived
and given a posthumous chance to
fulfill their dreams and perform the
show that never was. Singing in the
closest of harmony, squabbling
boyishly over the smallest
intonations and executing their
charmingly outlandish choreography
with over-zealous precision, Forever
Plaid is a guaranteed smash. Enjoy
the Plaids singing your favorite
1950’s hits like, “Three Coins in
the Fountain”, “Sixteen Tons” and
“Love is a Many Splendored Thing.”
One of the most popular musicals in
recent memory, Forever Plaid will
have you rolling in the aisles with
their Ed Sullivan Show parody,
humming along to your favorite songs
and yearning for the simpler days of
yester year.

THE CAST
Brad Walker (Frankie) is
thrilled to be making his SSR debut
with Forever Plaid -- one of his
favorite shows of all time! A few

Brandt Sterling (Jinx) is
excited to be back at SecondStory
Repertory! He comes to the Seattle
area with a Bachelor's of Music in
Music Theater and a Master's in
Liberal Arts from Oklahoma City
University. Brandt has recently
been seen as Alan DeLuca in A Chorus
Line with Seattle Musical Theatre,
Prince John in The Princess and the
Pea at SecondStory Repertory,

Dirty, Rotten Scoundrels, and Debbie
Does Dallas. Brandt would like to
thank his cast, crew, family and
friends for their continued love and
support!
Isaiah Crowson (Smudge) is
pleased to be on the SSR stage once
again. However, since in his last
production here he played Riff Raff
in Rocky Horror, he is a bit
surprised they asked him to be a
part of a production that is so
wholesome. Other past work at SSR
includes The Snail in A Year with
Frog and Toad, the Carpenter's Mate
in HMS Pinafore, Pan in Bat Boy, and
Richard in Private Lives. Isaiah
has also appeared at ArtsWest as
Jake in Evil Dead the Musical; Allan
Felix in Play It Again, Sam; Mitch
in Tuesday's With Morrie; and Satan
in [Interlace] Falling Star. Isaiah
would like to say thank you to his
beautiful girlfriend, Amy. Who
keeps him sane....ish. Oh and one
more thing. Look Mom, a show you
actually won't be embarrassed to
come see!
Andrew Murray (Sparky) is very
happy to have Forever Plaid be his
fourth show here at SSR! Previously
on this stage he has been seen in
Alexander and the Terrible,
Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day,
Harriet's Halloween Candy, and
Joseph. Seattle venues: Book-It,
Open Circle Theatre, Seattle Opera,
Balagan Theatre, The Schoolyard, and
SMT. Thanks and love to mama CDM.
Have fun!
THE CREW
Crystal Dawn Munkers (Director)
Crystal has had the honor of
directing this incredible show for
both Bellevue Civic Theatre and
Tacoma Actors’ Guild. She just
directed A Chorus Line for Seattle
Musical Theatre. Northwest
choreography includes Village
Theatre: West Side Story, Peter Pan;
Seattle Musical Theatre: Chicago;
Civic Light Opera: Children of Eden
, Something’s Afoot, Joseph …;
Wooden O: Comedy of Errors, A
Midsummer Night’s Dream, Much Ado
About Nothing, Twelfth Night;
Bellevue Civic: Jesus Christ
Superstar; 5th Avenue: The Northwest
Bookshelf; Repertory Actors’
Theatre: Schoolhouse Rock LIVE!
Crystal’s favorite creation is her
solo Fosse show for Carnival Cruise
Lines where she was the leading
female vocalist and had the honor of
dancing with and singing backup for
Mr. Ben Vereen. She is a proud
evaluator for the 5th Avenue’s High
School Musical Theatre Awards.
Paul Linnes (Music Director)
Forever Plaid marks Paul's fourth
show with SSR having provided music
direction for Click, Clack, Moo:
cows that type, Chicago, and most
recently - Beauty and the Beast.
Other music director engagements have
included ArtsWest, the Driftwood Players
Summer Teen musical, Youth Theatre
Northwest and Snoqualmie Falls
Forest Theatre. He has also been an
orchestral programmer (creating
entire soundtracks for shows solely
inside his computer) for more than 5
years, a job which marries his love
of music with his love of
technology. Paul was also the only
Resident Music Director for Seattle
Musical Theatre in its history, a
position created specifically for
him. Paul
currently maintains a private voice
studio and teaches voice as part of
Roosevelt High School’s drama program.
While performing on stage or in the
studio is not something he has an
opportunity to do much anymore, he loves
the “intersection of disciplines” that
music direction provides.
Sara Trowbridge (Stage Manager)
returns to SecondStory Repertory to
work behind the scenes on what
promises to be an amazing
production. She was last seen on
the boards as Cassandra in Charles
Way’s Beauty and the Beast.
Previous shows include A Year With
Frog and Toad, Sleeping Beauty, HMS
Pinafore, and her all-time favorite,
Misery. She earned her BA in
Performance at Central Washington
University. Much love to her
support crew.
