The humorous yet inspiring tale follows Elle Woods, a typical sorority girl who can't get enough pink in her wardrobe, whose main interests include shoes, shopping and her manicure appointment. But her superficial exterior hides a determined soul with the savvy to get her way and a surprisingly sharp wit. When her boyfriend dumps her for a more intellectual woman, Elle puts down the credit card, hits the books and sets out to go where no Delta Nu has gone before: Harvard Law. This unlikely academic ends up teaching the intellectual elite a thing or two, and finding true love along the way.
