The Love List
By Norm Foster
In this sidesplitting and thought-provoking new comedy, Leon and Bill concoct a list of attributes of the ideal woman - the top ten best qualities in a mate. When this allegedly "Ideal Woman" actually arrives on the scene the men quickly learn that their list could use a few revisions. Be careful what you wish for - especially in choosing a mate. This old adage leads to hilarious results in Foster's sparkling comic hit.

Some favorite roles ON stage are El Gallo in The Fantastiks, Kenny in Laughter on the 23rd Floor & Judas/John the Baptist in Godspell. Tim would like to thank Rick, for the call, Cynthia, Jen & Mark. Special thanks to Traci and Tim’s dog, Cooper, for his patience when Dad was gone some long combined days and nights. Enjoy all!

Sara Trowbridge (Justine) is delighted to return to SSR and to work with some truly darling men, in a role that has special meaning for her.  From director, to actors, to crew – she is surrounded by love and support, and is incredibly thankful to be a part of this production. She is a Pacific Northwest theater veteran, and was last seen as Sissy in the world premier musical The Hours of Life with Theatre22.  Other recent roles include God in Wild Party (Sound Theatre Company), Rosalind in Moon Over Buffalo (SecondStory Repertory) and Jane Banbury in Fallen Angels (Theater Schmeater).  Much love to Steph and Kev – I wouldn’t have made it without you.

Rick Wright (Director) has been involved with live theater in the Puget Sound area for over thirty-five years.  The Love List marks the third time he has directed for SecondStory Rep., his first two shows being Moon Over Buffalo, and Keely and Du.  Last Season he directed A Christmas Carol and this season Man of La Mancha  both for Seattle Musical Theatre.  He has directed shows for several other theaters including Born Yesterday, Greater Tuna, and Norman is That You, for the Camwood Players, and My Three Angels and 7 Year Itch for Off the Wall.  At the Historic Everett Theatre he directed the very popular Chapter Two, which won five “Al” awards including “Best Show” and “Best Director”.  He also directed That’s the Spirit, The Odd Couple, and for Everett audiences again directed a favorite, Norman is That You? At the Phoenix theatre in Edmonds, Rick directed their very first full fledged production, Prisoner of Second Avenue, along with Drinking Alone, Bedtime Stories, Sylvia and Office Hours, the last 3 in which he was also featured.

He is thankful for the opportunity to introduce his children to the joys and heartaches of live theater and has been fortunate that they have shared his love for this institution.  They have all shared the stage with him creating memories that will last a lifetime.  Rick would like to thank his wife of thirty-three years for putting up with his many absences from home.
