Generations of readers have adored the best-selling novel Anne of Green Gables, and SSR is proud to present the musical adaptation of L.M. Montgomery's timeless classic. The Cuthberts, expecting to adopt a boy, receive a wide-eyed, red-haired, girl named Anne. As she explores her new surroundings, the inquisitive Anne Shirley develops a penchant for finding trouble. With her irrepressible spirit and imagination, she works her way into the hearts of her adoptive parents as well as the residents of Prince Edward Island. It's a heartwarming story for the whole family.

Emily Brooks (Anne) is thrilled to be making her SSR debut playing her favorite literary character ever! Favorite credits include The Wizard of Oz (Dorothy), Once Upon a Mattress (Winifred), Seussical (The Cat in the Hat), Wonderland (Asst. Choreographer) at Studio East; the 10 Minute Musical Project and the Rising Star Project productions of The Pajama Game (Dance Captain/ Mary), How To Succeed…, and Carousel at the 5th Avenue Theatre; Boston Conservatory’s Musical Theatre Dance Intensive. Many, many thanks to Kim Maguire and this amazing cast and creative team! 1 Corinthians 13:13.

Christina Masson Ronquillo (Mrs. Barry/Ensemble) is proud to mark her 8th onstage appearance and 26th production at SSR; she's been performing, stage managing, and choreographing here since 2011.  She has also performed with Seattle Musical Theatre, Leavenworth Summer Theater, and most recently with the Seattle Gilbert & Sullivan Society.  You'll see her onstage next at SSR as Rose 'Rosie' Alvarez in "Bye Bye Birdie" in March!  Love, as always, to Dan & Cody.

Jeff Church (Matthew) was last seen at SecondStory as Georges in La Cage aux Folles. Other recent work includes Sir Joseph in HMS Pinafore with Seattle G&S Society, Judge Turpin in ArtsWest’s Sweeney Todd and Mr. McClam in Fly By Night at Reboot. He has also worked with Village Theatre, SMT/CLO, 5th Avenue, React and Bitter Single Guy Productions. Thank you for supporting the Arts and for sharing in our story.

Britt Boyd (Mrs Lynde) is delighted to return to SecondStory's mainstage, where she most recently performed as Lucy in A Charlie Brown Christmas. Other favorite local credits include The Baker’s Wife in Into the Woods (Seattle Musical Theatre), Mrs. Armstrong in The Best Christmas Pageant Ever (Seattle Public Theatre) and Martha in The Secret Garden (Kitsap Forest Theater).  She has also performed locally with Village Theatre, ACT, Living Voices, Theater Schmeater and STAGEright. Cheers!

Lacey Krueger (Josie Pie/Minnie May) Lacey is very excited to be in her first SecondStory Rep production. Recent credits include: Featured Dancer (Big Fish) at Village KIDSTAGE, Jemima Potts (Chitty Chitty Bang Bang), Susan Waverly (White Christmas) at ManeStage Theatre Company, and Angela Robson (Billy Elliott) at Village Theatre. Jocelyne Fowler (Costume Designer) has designed for SecondStory Repertory (Evita, Chess: the Musical, The Lion in Winter, etc.), Seattle Shakespeare Company (Mrs. Warren's Profession, Titus Andronicus, Richard II), Book-It Repertory Theatre (Treasure Island, Emma, Pride and Prejudice, Frankenstein, Anna Karenina), Wooden O, Tacoma Musical Playhouse, Vashon Opera, Youth Theatre Northwest, and others. She is the recipient for the 2016 Gregory Award in Outstanding Costume Design. Upcoming work can be seen in A Civil War Christmas at Taproot Theatre and Once Upon a Mattress at Tacoma Musical Playhouse.
