MEET THE CAST

John Clark (Ebenezer Scrooge) considers it an honor and a privilege to play this role every year here at SecondStory Rep and help bring this timeless story to life. Other roles here include Antonio in Much Ado About Nothing, Orgon in Tartuffe, Orsini Rosenburg in Amadeus, and Walter in Keely and Du. He has appeared at The Seattle Rep. Village Theatre, Empty Space, Pioneer Sq. Sound Theatre Co, and many others around town. He was last seen as Ray in Yankee Tavern at Renton Civic Theatre and before that, Dr. Stockman in Ibsen’s An Enemy of the People at Key City Public Theatre. Last summer he played Charlie “The Duck” Clench in the Seattle premier of One Man, Two Guvnors. Other favorite roles include; Mozart in Amadeus, Ellard in The Foreigner, Selsdon in Noises Off, Lord Edgar/Jane in The Mystery of Irma Vep, Rosencrantz in Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, The Old Man in Fool for Love, and Clov in Samuel Beckett’s Endgame.

David Bailey (Marley/Christmas Present/Fezziwig) is thrilled to be making his nighttime debut before SSR audiences, having been seen by the daytime crowd in two of SSR’s past children's theater shows: 'Treasure Island' and 'Stuart Little'.  Having played multiple roles in both of those shows was good training for the costume changes needed for this production of 'A Christmas Carol'!  Both an actor and director, some of you may have seen David's work over the past several years at Phoenix Theatre; Woodinville Rep; Stone Soup Theater; Evergreen Family Theater, amongst others.  He also, occasionally, has the pleasure of working with Last Leaf Productions' children's shows during the summertime. "Thank you all for your support of live theater in the Puget Sound region; we wouldn't be here without you!  And a very, Merry Christmas to you all!"

Jalyn Green (Bob Cratchit) is very happy to be returning to this production for the fourth time and for the third time as Bob.  Previously at SSR you might have seen him in other shows including The Pillowman, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead and most recently directed Goodnight Moon for the TYA.  Thanks to John, Pat, Terry, Barbara family, friends, and of course The Cheat.

Niki Flynn (Beth/Mary/Christmas Future) is ecstatic to finally get back on stage and perform for SSR! Away from acting for far too long, it has been Niki’s dream to once again persue this passion. What makes this even better is that she gets to perform with her favorite son! Past roles include Elise (The Miser), Beverly (The Shadow Box), and Annie Sullivan (The Miracle Worker). Beyond loving theater, Niki enjoys baking a wide variety of yummy treats and spending hours in the gym. She would like to thank Mark, Jen, Pat, and Terry for making her acting dream a reality. She would also like to thank her loving and patient husband Rob for his unwavering support. Merry Christmas!

Connor Flynn (Peter Cratchit) is in the 5th grade and is so grateful to be performing in this show at SSR for a second time as Peter Cratchit! Past roles include Oliver (Oliver!, RATA), Young Scrooge (A Christmas Carol, RATA), and Young Cain (Children of Eden, RATA). Connor is in the Trails/Pathway program at Village Theatre Kidstage, where he has also been cast in Seussical Jr., opening in April 2018. When not on stage Connor plays tackle football and studies anything related to football. He is a Cub Scout, guitar player, and Student Council member. Connor would like to thank everyone at SSR for this opportunity, his friends and family for their support, and his mom and dad for getting him everywhere he needs to be. Merry Christmas!

Ethan Lech (Turkey Boy/Ebby/Ignorance) is 11 years old and honored to be returning to SSR for his 4th year of performing in A Christmas Carol. Past Credits include: Beauty & the Beast (SFFT), Evita (SSR), A Christmas Carol (SSR), Carousel (5th Avenue), Peter Pan (Lyric Light Opera), Oliver! (5th Avenue) and Twilight Zone Live (Theater Schmeater). Ethan has also done commercial work and received film credit for a television pilot. When not on stage or in front of a camera, you’ll find Ethan at the dance studio. He’s a member of the Summit Dance Co. Elite competitive team, where he competes in jazz, tap, hip hop and musical theater. He would like to thank SSR for always making him feel at home. Happy Christmas!

Savannah Lech (Fan/Want/Good King Solo) is 8 years old and excited to be returning to SecondStory Rep for her 3rd year of performing in A Christmas Carol. Past credits include: Beauty & the Beast (SFFT), A Christmas Carol (SSR) in 2014 and 2015. Savannah’s other passions include art and dance. She is currently taking art classes in multiple mediums and will soon be adding sewing to her repertoire. Savannah has been dancing since age 2, and this is her second year on the Summit Dance Co. Elite competitive team, where she will be competing in jazz, tap, hip hop, lyrical and musical theater. She hopes you enjoy the show and wishes you all a very Merry Christmas!

Tristan Hagen (Tiny Tim) is excited to be performing in his first SSR production! Tristan is a 3rd grader at Sacred Heart School in Clyde Hill. He studies Tap and Hip Hop at Backstage Dance Studio, and is a member of the Bellevue Boys’ Choir as well as Sacred Heart Parish’s children’s choir. Tristan’s acting credits include Stories Under the Big Top, his school play, and Home Alone, a play produced by his dance studio. Outside of the Arts, Tristan enjoys playing lacrosse, basketball and soccer. In his spare time, Tristan can be found immersed within his Xbox Minecraft world.
