LADY OF CHAOS
August 3rd, 2012 at 8pm
Written by Thomas Constantine Moore
Directed by Rob MacGregor
Brilliant scientist Frederic manufactures ‘the
perfect woman,’ Frey, as a present for his best
friend and unrequited love, James, but things take
several turns for the worse when James reveals his
engagement to Sara and a violent chaos priestess
wakes Frey and wreaks havoc in pursuit of her deadly
agenda.
GOING OUT
August 4th, 2012 at 8pm
Written by Jesse Putnam
Directed by Dan Posluns
The story of the functionally dysfunctional Flaherty
family of Boston: the son so obsessed with words he
uses Merriam-Webster for counsel, the debutant
daughter who dreams of marrying (something like) a
Kennedy, the dad who can't make it out the door, and
the mom who binds them.
ABOUT THE AUTHORS
Thomas Constantine Moore
graduated from Redmond High School in 2010, and is
currently pursuing a BFA in
Acting at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh.
Interested in staging some of his original work,
Thomas founded the One Summer Theater Company in
2011 with other RHS students and alums and produced
two one-act plays at SecondStory Repertory last
August. Thomas is thrilled to be back in partnership
with SSR this summer, and he hopes you enjoy the
play.
Jesse Putnam is a playwright and screenwriter
working in Seattle. Going Out is his fourth
full-length play and first true comedy. His play
The Masters was produced in 2009 at Odd Duck
Studio in Seattle and in 2011 his play Super
Tuesday ran at Burien Little Theatre. Also an
actor, Jesse has performed in several regional
plays, most recently as Von Strack in SecondStory’s
production of Amadeus.
Jesse is delighted to have been invited to write for
SecondStory Repertory’s first play festival and
thanks Mark and Jen for making this event possible.
He is especially grateful to Dan and this
wonderfully talented cast for their embrace of the
Flaherty family and their chaotic harmony.
