Ordinary Days is an intimate and relatable musical that captures the magic and chaos of everyday life in New York City. It follows the interconnected stories of four young adults as they navigate love, loss, and the search for meaning in a bustling metropolis.
With a fresh and contemporary score, the musical explores the idea that extraordinary moments can be found in the most ordinary of circumstances. Through witty dialogue and heartfelt songs, Ordinary Days celebrates the beauty of human connection and the resilience of the human spirit. It's a show that reminds us that even in the midst of our busy lives, we are all searching for something more.

MEET THE CAST
Lee Iris Thomas (Claire) is thrilled to return to the SSR stage! She was previously seen and heard as Shotzi in Starmites and only seen as The Mute in The Fantasticks. Other credits include The Firebringer (Red Curtain) and Beauty and the Beast (BPA). There are so many people she would like to thank but most important are her new fiancé Jacob, who has been very patient while she has “let things go,” and her sister Emma, who is getting to see her perform for the first time in twelve years. Thank you all for supporting live theater!
Graham Arthur Blair (Jason) is delighted to find the extraordinary in Ordinary Days with this wonderful cast and crew at SSR! He last appeared at SSR in Merrily We Roll Along and is thrilled to be back for a very different kind of musical journey. Other favorite appearances include Princeton in Avenue Q (RCT), the Soldier in Sunday in the Park With George (SSR), and Snail in A Year With Frog and Toad (Twelfth Night). Graham currently serves as the President of the Board at RCT and is proud to support the arts both on and off the stage. He’d like to thank his fellow cast and crewmates for all their hard work and for being awesome. He would also like to wish much love to his family, his friends, and his fiancée, Val. Be kind to every kind!
Eilish Rhoades (Deb) is thrilled to be making her SSR debut in Ordinary Days! She was previously seen in Little Women (Jo March) at Sky Performing Arts. Other credits include The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Marcy Park), A Chorus Line (Diana) and Elf the Musical (Deb/Ensemble). Eilish would like to thank the amazing cast and crew as well as her family and her husband Jake.
Max Lopuszynski (Warren) returns for his twelfth production with SSR! Previous credits include Sunday in the Park with George (Franz/Dennis), Man of La Mancha (Anselmo), Goodnight Moon (Bunny), and Elephant & Piggie (Elephant). Other local credits include: I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change (RCT), Sweeney Todd (Harlequin/Olympia Symphony), Cabaret (BPA), Anyone Can Whistle (Reboot), and The Pirates of Penzance (Seattle G&S). Sally Modzelewski (Claire U/S) is delighted to be a part of her first production with SSR, and her first show in Seattle! Back home in Cincinnati, Ohio, Sally was a part of productions including Children of Eden (Snake/ Storyteller), Jane Eyre: A Musical Drama (Scatcherd/ Mrs. Dent/ Ensemble), and The Sound of Music (Sister Sophia). This production is dedicated to Sierra, who believes Sally could do anything, and for them, she will. Enjoy the show!
Teddy Meyer (Jason U/S) has been performing his entire life. His parents met in a film actors studio so it’s very much in his blood. He has acted for well over 20 years but took an extended hiatus to just teach and direct some of the best kids in the world. He has now pivoted and is focused on his own acting career, for a change. And with that he couldn’t be prouder to join SSR as the Jason understudy! He’s humbled to be around such amazing talent.
Emily Courcy (Deb U/S) is thrilled to be back at SSR! You may recognize her from last season’s Ride The Cyclone (Ocean) or Merrily We Roll Along (Beth). Other Seattle credits include The Full Monty (Georgie) and Avenue Q (Bad Idea Bear) at RCT. Non-PNW favorites include Next to Normal (Natalie), Heathers: The Musical (Veronica), and Hairspray (Penny). Many thanks to the cast, production team, and her wonderful friends!
Thomas Anthony Pierson (Warren U/S) could not possibly be more excited to be a part of this production, this show means the world to him, and all these characters hold a very special place in his heart, it's been a dream come true to watch Scott and Gabe bring this show to life! And while this is Thomas's first show with SSR, he truly wishes that it isn't the last, please enjoy ordinary days!
MEET THE PRODUCTION TEAM
Scot Charles Anderson (Director) is honored to direct Ordinary Days, a show that feels like coming home. Credits include Reboot’s raw & rebellious, punk-rock production of Oliver! , 110 in the Shade (Reboot/Seattle Public), Curtains and Nice Work if You Can Get It (Woodland Park Players), Something’s Afoot (Driftwood), Fiddler on the Roof (SMT). As an actor Scot appeared at SSR in God of Carnage. Scot believes that art, in all forms, has a powerful force that can bring about change, open communication and help to build a stronger, more loving community for all humans.
Gabriel Mangiante (Music Director) is thrilled to be making his musical direction debut at SSR. He was previously heard as the as the synthesizer player and programmer for SSR’s productions of Merrily We Roll Along and Ride the Cyclone. The entire cast and crew of Ordinary Days, as well as the staff of SSR, have his heartfelt thanks for such a warm welcome.His previous professional credits in the DC area include dozens of cabarets and musicals at Signature Theatre in Arlington, VA, where he was the Resident Associate Musical Director. Amongst those was the world premiere of Adam Gwon’s musical The Boy Detective Fails, based on the novel by Joe Meno. He is excited to help bring one of Adam’s best-known works to SSR with this production of Ordinary Days.Additional professional credits include a number of productions and performances at Studio Theatre, Arena Stage and Ford’s Theatre in Washington, DC. He has been nominated for multiple Helen Hayes awards for musical direction, and his synthesizer programming work was also heard in Come From Away and the Broadway revival of Gigi. As he is just beginning his musical journey in the Seattle area, he also moonlights as principal software engineer at Jacobson Consulting Solutions.
