by Lauren Gunderson & Margot MelconDirected by Elizabeth Tanner
Return to the beloved world of Jane Austen in this delightful holiday sequel to Pride and Prejudice. It's Christmas at Pemberley, and the spirited Georgiana Darcy, along with the vivacious Kitty Bennet, are ready for festivities, romance, and perhaps a little mischief. As new guests arrive and old flames flicker, will love blossom amidst the carols and cheer? This charming and witty play is a warm, festive treat, perfect for anyone who adores the Bennet sisters and the magic of the holiday season.
MEET THE CAST
Jillian Faulk (Lizzy Bennet) is thrilled to be reprising her role for the third year in a row. You may have seen her in the two other installments of “Christmas at Pemberley”, and most recently as Leslie Casewell in “The Mousetrap”. She sends endless love to her “Pember-family”, her fiancé Anthony, and all who come out to support live theater.
Tadd Morgan (Fitzwilliam Darcy) It is a truth universally acknowledged that an actor who plays Mr. Darcy three times in a row is a tremendously lucky fellow indeed. Tadd was last seen at RCT in Dracula. He has worked with numerous other local companies, including Hello Earth, Parley, SPT, and Pork Filled Productions. Tadd’s voice can also be heard in audiobooks and video games. A Northwest native, he began his theatrical training at Youth Theatre Northwest. Tadd would like to thank Mark for so many years of phenomenal opportunities and incredible work at SSR.
Mary Guthrie (Jane Bennet) is thrilled to be returning to SSR for the final installment of the Bennet sisters trilogy! Mary has previously been seen at SSR in Dancing at Lughnasa, and Miss Bennett: C@P. Recent credits include understudying Murder on the Links at Taproot Theatre and Assistant Directing/producing/performing in Jurassic Parking Lot at Seattle Public Theatre. Other favorite performances include 39 Steps at As If theatre, Unnecessary Farce at Edmonds Driftwood Players, Ghost-Writer at Woodinville Repertory Theatre, and In the Next Room at Valley Center Stage. Directorial credits include Treasure Island at VCS with Murder on the Nile on deck this summer. This show is dedicated to the rest of our Pemberley HBs: Chris, Katie and Josiah.
Alysha Curry (Lydia Wickham) is delighted to return to Pemberley at SSR! Alysha played the role of Lydia in last year’s production of The Wickhams: C@P. She has been seen in various 14/48 festivals (TWQTF), and shows with Sound Theatre, Macha Theatre Works, Reboot, The 14/48 Projects, Theater Schmeater, and Annex Theatre. When not on stage, Alysha is proud to work at Seattle Children’s Hospital, recognized by U.S. News & World Report as one of the top 10 children’s hospitals in the U.S. Love to her sisters, onstage and off. (she/her)
Sara Schweid (Mary Bennet) last appeared at SSR as Mary Bennet in the first installment of the “C@P” trilogy, and is delighted to return for this year’s family reunion. Previous SSR roles include Charlotte Corday in “The Revolutionists” and Gloria Rasputin in “Bye Bye Birdie.” She is a producer with Blue Hour Theatre Group and performed in their Gregory Award-nominated production of “The Plague Master General (a bubonic comedy).” She was most recently seen as Olivia "Twelfth Night" (GreenStage). Other favorite roles include Gwendolen in “The Importance of Being Earnest,” Peter in “Jesus Christ Superstar,” and Gretchen in “Boeing Boeing.”
Derek Sikkema (Henry Grey) is ecstatic to be making his debut at SSR with such a warm, lovely little script! This is his first work in a 'traditional,' live theater setting since 2022, but he has been working in improvisational and immersive theater, commercial, and film during the intervening years. His most recent role was this past March as Heph in LitImmersive's experience Ambrosia Incorporated, and his personal favorite job was as a Hawkins Lab Employee in Stranger Things: the Experience, which toured in Seattle in Summer 2023. He has an MFA in Acting from the FSU/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training, and he would like to thank everyone who has supported him the past few years, most notably Mom and Jim.
Olivia Ockey Goodwin (Georgiana Darcy) is delighted to make her SSR debut in Pemberly! Born and raised in Utah, she graduated from BYU's BFA acting program and then made the move to Seattle. She was most recently seen this last summer as Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing with Greenstage. Other local credits include Twelfth Night (Maria) and Henry V (Katherine, Boy) with Greenstage, as well as Surviving Survival, Friends Across the Wires, and Ruins of Memory with Tales of the Alchemysts Theatre. Olivia is so grateful to her Pemberfamily for constantly making her laugh, and to her incredible husband, Jayden, for always encouraging her to do what she loves.
Ashley Rose Klimper (Kitty Bennet) is a Seattle based actor, director and friend. She is beyond delighted to be back at SSR! Ashley studied musical theater at Circle in the Square Theater School in New York City. Some favorite past credits include Ride the Cyclone(Constance), Doubt (Sister James), Into the Woods (Bakers Wife), Hairspray (Tracy), The Flick (Rose), and Island Song (Shoshanna). Much love to her happy ever after Andrew, their sweet kitty Vienna, and goofy pup Charley! (she/her)
Andrew Meyers (Thomas O-Brien) is stoked to take the stage for the first time in over ten years, and is especially jazzed that his reintroduction is at SSR! Though not a prolific actor, Andrew has had the good fortune to see he work as a playwright performed across the Seattle area. A huge thank you to Ashely, Charley, Vienna, the SSR Production Team, and the wonderful and welcoming cast of “Pemberley”!
MEET THE PRODUCTION TEAM
Elizabeth Tanner (Director) is delighted to be directing for the fourth time at SSR and on this delightful script with this incredible cast. A few of Elizabeth’s favorite directing credits include the 2 previous Christmas at Pemberly plays and The Half Life Marie Curie with SSR, Pride and Prejudice with Driftwood, My Dear Miss Chancellor with Annex among others. She thanks her family especially her husband Nathan and mother Mary, without their support and help she would not be able to do this.
Julie L. Benner (Stage Manager) This is Ms Benner’s 3rd show with SSR (Waiting for Godot (2005) and Wickham's: Christmas at Pemberley (2024)). She is honored to once again work with Ms Tanner and this cast with the final installation of the Christmas at Pemberley trilogy. The SM journey started 30+ years ago while earning her degree in Technical Theatre: Design and Production. It has taken her overseas, on the oceans, and across the US. These days, however, her time is spent mostly working one or two shows a year. (she/her)
Amy Hockman (Costume Design) is an award-winning costume designer with roots in theater acting and film. She was an actress for about a decade before realizing that wearing the costumes was what she enjoyed most of all! Amy has been designing costumes through cosplay since 2010.
