GLENGARRY GLEN ROSS BENEFIT PERFORMANCE
by David Mamet
Directed by Alicia Mendez
Step into the cutthroat world of desperate real estate salesmen in David Mamet's Pulitzer Prize-winning masterpiece. With a sales competition that promises a Cadillac to the top earner and pink slips to the losers, the pressure is on. Mamet's blistering dialogue and unflinching portrayal of ambition, greed, and betrayal reveal the dark underbelly of the American dream. This raw, intense, and darkly comedic drama is a relentless examination of morality under duress, guaranteed to leave you on the edge of your seat.

CONTENT ADVISORY: Please be advised: David Mamet's Glengarry Glen Ross contains strong and persistent profanity, as well as offensive language and racial slurs that reflect the cutthroat, cynical world of the play's characters. This material is a product of its time and is intended for mature audiences. It does not represent the views of the theatre or the production staff. RUNNING TIME: 90 minutes with a ten minute intermission.
MEET THE CAST
Terry Boyd (Shelly Levene) is thrilled to return to SSR where he was seen (for one week, it’s a long story) in First Date and the full runs of Frost/Nixon and Saint Joan. Lately, Terry appeared as Sidney in Deathtrap at Woodinville Rep, Aunt Nell in Treasure Island at Valley Center Stage and The Captain in Immigration Nation, the winner of The Audience Favorite Award at The Quickies at As If Theatre. Thanks to Alicia, Mark and this cast of gents.
Jack Anderson (John Williamson) is overjoyed to be back at SSR and especially to be part of this incredible show. SSR audiences may remember him as Chuck in She Kills Monsters, Juror Five in Twelve Angry Jurors, Bluebeard in Saint Joan, or Leroy in Dragons Love Tacos. Jack wants to give a huge thanks to Mark for all the love and incredible talent he puts into every single production, and to Hannah for her endless support.
Jeremy Radick (George Moss) is thrilled to return to SSR after playing Father Flynn in Doubt last season, and in this iconic play to boot! You’ve recently seen him on stage sailing the seven seas in Treasure Island (Valley Center Stage), and in the Gregory- and Broadway World Award-nominated production of The Plague Master General (Blue Hour Theatre.) Jeremy also directed Lear 1x3 for Baker Theatre Workshop and Merchant of Venice: The Musical for Amaranth Turtle Stages. He’ll next be directing Baker Theatre’s upcoming production of Life on the Moon this holiday season and appearing in a staged reading of new plays for Drunken Owl Theatre. Shout out to his incredible director and castmates, and thanks to his kiddos Axel and Bowie.
Rick Wright (George Aaronow) is pleased to once again play the overtly handsome hero. Long time patrons might dimly recall his role as Charlie in On Golden Pond. His performance was so captivating, they called him back to the stage just 14 years later. If you venture outside of Redmond’s Theater District, you might have caught his turn as Uncle Fester in The Addams Family at the Edmonds Driftwood Players. As a director, Rick’s work could be seen at SSR with Moon over Buffalo, Keely and Du, The Love List, and Frost/Nixon. Rick would like to thank Mark and Alicia for pulling him out of retirement, and he is grateful for the overwhelming support and encouragement of his family.
Scot Charles Anderson (Richard Roma) Previously appearing in God of Carnage at SSR, Scot is f@#$in’ thrilled to return to the SSR stage. Off-Broadway: Tennessee Williams’ In Masks Outrageous and Austere starring Shirley Knight. Television: The back of his head made regular appearances on The Good Wife, SVU, PanAm, The Following, 30Rock, Elementary, Boardwalk Empire. Seattle Acting: Do I Hear a Waltz?, A Chorus Line, The Twilight Zone: Live on Stage, The Old Boy, The Rainmaker, My Fair Lady, H2$, The Mousetrap, Triumph of Love. Local Directing: Ordinary Days (SSR), Oliver! and 110 in the Shade (Reboot Theatre) Nice Work and Curtains (Woodland Park Players), Something’s Afoot (Driftwood), and Fiddler on the Roof (SMT). Endless gratitude to my husband, Michael, my collaborator in art and life.
Jay Jenkins (James Lingk) is thrilled to be making his SSR debut with this script, this cast, and this director. Jay has been acting, writing, directing for, well, decades at this point. He has appeared on stages in every western state with the exception of Utah. He was last seen as Dionysius in The Gods of Comedy (Phoenix Theatre), as Mansel in Second Samuel (Phoenix), and as Arthur Kipps/Actor in The Woman in Black (Red Curtain). Jay has appeared in films and commercials as well. The most recent film, the 2023 IndieX Award Winning The Face of Death. As always love and thanks to Jimmy, Big Al, and Puker.
Patrick Hogan (Detective Baylen) This is Patrick’s first appearance at SSR, though he has trod area stages for over a dozen years. Treasured eastside roles include Tim in The Cake (As If Theatre), Frank Foster in How the Other Half Loves (Red-Wood Theatre) and three gigs with Woodinville Rep: Teddy in Arsenic and Old Lace, Inspector Rough in Angel Street (Gaslight) and Caden in The Thanksgiving Play. He is a long-time company member with Dacha Theatre. Patrick recently directed one of the Kenmore Quickies for As If, and previously directed for the Fringe Explosion at Pocket Theater (RIP.) He also has written reviews for the Edmonds Beacon, My Edmonds News and maintains a (mostly) theater blog, Limited Perspective, here: https://patrickslimitedperspective.blogspot.com/
Fun fact: Patrick once sang the national anthem at a roller derby match.
