THE COTTAGE by Sandy Rustin
Co-produced with Circle of Fire Theatre
Directed by Ken Michels
A glamorous, fast-paced, and laugh-out-loud bedroom farce that breathes hilarious new life into the classic 1920s drawing-room comedies of Noël Coward. Set in a picturesque English countryside cottage in 1923, Sylvia Van Kipness decides to expose her once-a-year, passionate affair with her husband’s brother by sending a telegram to everyone involved. When the spouses—and a few other unexpected lovers—arrive at the door, the cottage explodes into a whirlwind of shifting allegiances, scandalous secrets, and high-stakes physical comedy, all wrapped up in a sharp, modern feminist twist.
