Book and Lyrics by Willie Reale
Music by Robert Reale
Based on the books by Arnold Lobel

Waking from hibernation in the Spring, Frog and Toad plant gardens, swim, rake leaves, go sledding and learn life lessons along the way. The two best friends celebrate and rejoice in the differences that make them unique and special. Part vaudeville, part make believe... all charm, A Year with Frog and Toad tells the story of a friendship that endures throughout the seasons. Photos by Michael Brunk |

Brad Walker (Frog) is always proud to return to the SSR stage, where he has played Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors, Frankie in Forever Plaid, and has directed The Snow Queen. When she isn't musically directing, she is working at Book-It Repertory Theatre as their Literary and Artistic Intern. She's had the opportunity through Book-It to be the dramaturg for two world-premiere adaptations of novels so far: Treasure Island (November-December 2016) and Hemingway's A Moveable Feast (running now through April 2 - don't miss it!). She holds an MA in Shakespeare Studies and loves everything about Reformation-era English drama and theology. Next up: Vocally directing The Little Mermaid at Everett High School and acting as the dramaturg for Book-It's new adaptation of T. Geronimo Johnson's novel Welcome to Braggsville.

Christina Masson Ronquillo (Choreographer) has had the pleasure of choreographing for Adam on "Songs For A New World" and "A Christmas Carol 2015" at SecondStory, and is delighted to work with him again on "A Year With Frog & Toad". She is currently also choreographing for Issaquah Middle School's production of "Seussical Jr".
