Brendan Rosell (Toby) is energized to be back on the stage at SSR where he was last seen as Noah in Children of Eden. Some favorite roles include: Gypsy (LA), Scrooge (Young Scrooge), Legally Blonde (Grandmaster Chad) and Pajama Game (First Helper) all at Seattle Musical Theatre. Other favorite roles: A Chorus Line (Mike), West Side Story (Big Deal), Spring Awakening (Student) and You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown (Charlie Brown). Brendan spent this past summer at Oklahoma City University and New York University immersed in the world of Musical Theater and is excited to be back on the stage.

Maggie Tisdale (Mom) holds a BFA in Drama from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, where she studied with the Atlantic Theatre Company Acting School. A recent Seattle transplant, Maggie spent the last seven years performing in Denver, Colorado. Credits include The Great American Trailer Park Musical (Lin), …Spelling Bee (Schwartzy), City of Angels (Oolie/Donna), Cabaret (Kost), Cinderella (Portia), Once Upon a Mattress (Winnifred), A 1940s Radio Christmas Carol (Margie), My First Time and Love…Perfect…Change. Maggie’s first love is children’s theatre, and Denver credits include A Year with Frog and Toad, Ramona Quimby, The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley, Miss Nelson is Missing, Honk!, Just So, Miss Nelson Has a Field Day and How I Became a Pirate.

Mckenzie Rush (Bunnicula) is very excited to be doing her first show at SSR! She recently graduated from Cornish College of the Arts with a BFA in theater performance. Some favorite roles include Flo in "The Mystery Of Edwin Drood", Tanya in "Punk Rock", and Snoopy in "You're A Good Man Charlie Brown". Outside of theater McKenzie teaches gymnastics at Seattle Gymnastics Academy. Love to mom, dad, and Jude.

David Bander (Pete) is thrilled to be getting back on stage as a pre-teen version of himself. Locally, he has performed with Studio East in I Never Saw Another Butterfly (Papa) and 'Twas the Night (Father). Other roles include Charlie in The Foreigner, Roger in Musical Comedy Murders of 1940, Sylvestre in Scapin, and Shel in Epic Proportions. Love to family and friends, and especially his own 'Pet in the House,' Victor Danger.

Sebastian Floyd Hulburt (Harold) is just so happy to be returning to the SSR stage. It's really the best. Some favorite past credits include but are not limited to Chess (Anatoly), Sweeney Todd (Sweeney), and Romeo & Juliet (Tybalt). When not performing he enjoys long walks down the beach, the rule of three, and oxford commas. Thanks to Metro for existing and you for the same reason. Enjoy the show!

Rebecca Lane (Chester) is excited to be making her SecondStory debut as Chester the cat! Rebecca was last seen as Sally Brown in Twelfth Night's You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown. Other past roles include an Angel in Anything Goes, and Crissy in Hair. She is a graduate of UW's Drama program. When not rehearsing, Rebecca spends her time teaching theater, and enjoys playing with her own two pets, the corgis Mischief and Norman. Thank you M&D and C for the support and encouragement!

Erik Eagleson (Mr. Monroe) He is excited to be making his SSR debut. He is a graduate of Circle in the Square Theater School in NYC. He has performed with The Minneapolis Children's Theater, Book-It Theater, Story Book Theater, SMT, Renton Civic, Centerstage & others. He as done a number of films and commercials in the Seattle area. He was last seen as the dancing cow in the Puyallup Fair commercial last summer. He is also the Master Carpenter/ Tech Asst. at Studio East. He would like to thank the cast, crew & creative team. Thanks to his families for all their love and support. And of course a BIG Thanks to his better half and the love of his life Abby. And Snuggs. The best dog in the world!

MEET THE PRODUCTION TEAM

Julia Thornton (Music Director) is excited to be music directing her third production at SecondStory Repertory. She received her BA from the University of Oregon in 2011 and is happy to have spent the last two years in Seattle playing music and working on musicals. She's active as a pianist, singer, music director and accompanist. Most recently she music directed Chess (ArtsWest) and was last seen at SSR for RENT. Thanks to Mark and Jen for their continued support.

Samuel Pettit (Director) has appeared onstage with Seattle Opera, Barrington Stage Company, Village, TMP and Storybook Theater as well as many others. At Village he stage managed for the New Works Festival and Love is Love by Martin Charnin. Recently he choreographed the official 2012 Puallyup Fair TV commercial. He spends the majority of his year teaching theater at Studio East in Kirkland. Sam has worked as choreographer/director on such shows as Legally Blonde, Oliver, Pirates of Penzance, Anything Goes, Peter Pan, Red-Hot and Cole, Pippi Longstocking, Camelot, Damn Yankees, Once On This Island, Once Upon A Mattress, Annie, Little Shop of Horrors, Grease, Seussical, Bye Bye Birdie & Nunsense. He has also written the book and lyrics to Robin Hood & The Marvelous Land of Oz with composer Justin Beal as well as co-founder of Origami Girl Productions.
