Michelle Lynn Conklin (Homer/Sheep/Spectator/Judge/Avery) is thrilled to be in this production of Charlotte's Web with SecondStory. She has vivid memories of her second grade teacher reading this classic out loud in class, and shared very special moments with her own children while reading this book together. Michelle is an actor, director and teaching artists in the Puget Sound area, she has been on stages from North Bend to Whidbey Island. Most recently she was part of the professional premier of "Shakespeare's Other Women" with Island Shakespeare Festival and is currently directing Contractions by Mike Bartlett with Kairos Theatre Company (a new company she helped form with her dear friends). Zandi Carlson (Narrator/Gander/Reporter/Uncle/POTF) delightfully returns to SecondStory Repertory, having previously played Patty in A Charlie Brown Christmas. Zandi is a company member of Theatre9/12 and recently performed in their production of You Are Right, If You Think. She's also been in Much Ado About Nothing with Seattle Shakespeare Company, The Wild Party with Sound Theatre Company, Perfect Arrangement with ReAct Theatre, Taming of the Shrew with quiet theatre, and more. In addition to performing, she is the Education Coordinator with Seattle Shakespeare Company, and has taught and directed throughout the greater Seattle area. Hannah Simpson (Fern/Goose/Spectator/Judge) is eager to make her SecondStory Rep debut with this phenomenal team! She started acting just a few years ago at Green River College, taking numerous character study and improv classes, slowly making theater a huge part of her life. She plans to attend Cornish College of the Arts in the fall to acquire her B.F.A in Acting. Her notable roles include Dina in South Pacific, Molly Aster in Peter and the Starcatcher, and most recently as the titular role in Mary Stuart. She would like to thank Sophia, her 2 year old niece, for inspiring her daily.

Hannah Coleman (Wilbur) is thrilled to be making her SSR debut with such an incredible cast and crew. She studied theater at Western Washington University, and currently works as the costume shop assistant at Village Theatre. Some of her favorite acting credits include: Into the Woods (The Baker’s Wife), Nunsense (Sister Mary Hubert), and Still Life with Iris (Iris). Emily Shuel (Charlotte) This is Emily's third time in a Theater for Young Audiences show at SecondStory Rep. She made her "royal" debut as the Dancing Princess, returned as Jim in "Treasure Island" and is thrilled to be back playing the only spider she'll ever love - Charlotte! Emily has performed at Book-It Repertory, StoryBook, Taproot, ACT and tours with Taproot's improv team year around. Back after having a little one of her own, Emily is especially looking forward to sharing this story with her son, who has given her a fresh perspective in all things childlike. She wouldn't be here today without the love and support of her husband, Brad, who took extra shifts on dad duty, and parents Darlene and Rob who introduced her to theater at a young age.

Buddy Todd (Director) Buddy has been directing/assistant directing/choreographing for the last 20 years, most recently Last Fall with Fantastic Z. Other shows include The Games Afoot with Renton Civic Theatre, where he also choreographed Annie in 2012, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown at the Black Box Theatre in Edmonds, The Long Christmas Dinner and A Child’s Christmas in Wales for Stone Soup Theatre, Fiddler on the Roof with Snoqualmie Falls Forest Theatre, The Fantastiks and Ruthless! The Musical with Eastern Washington University, How I Became a Pirate and The Nutcracker with Spokane Children’s Theater, and Dearly Departed at Spokane Civic Theatre. Concurrently, Buddy is choreographing Little Shop of Horrors at the Black Box Theatre in Edmonds and looks forward to directing at Renton Civic next season.
